G.S. Gelato and San Gelato Cafe, makers of sofi award-winning gelato, announced the opening of a new San Gelato Cafe in the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Luxury Beach Resort in Destin, Fla. This will be the third location for the company in the area, and fourth store total including a franchise in South Jordan, Utah. The Store will open its doors on Jan. 15 for a soft opening, and will have a grand opening towards the end of January.
The new cafe is located in a prime spot within the Village, which is a vibrant wharf-side community within Sandestin that boasts numerous specialty shops, restaurants and more. The Cafe will feature indoor and outdoor dining, and will have seating overlooking a lagoon.
"Putting a store into the Village of Baytowne Wharf has been a long-time goal of ours," said Simona Faroni, Vice President of San Gelato Cafe and G.S. Gelato. "We are excited about this opportunity and can't wait to bring our cafe concept to the community of Sandestin."
The geletaria and cafe will include a slightly different menu than the other locations, in order to adapt to the Baytowne community. The menu will feature California style tapas and bruschetta, both items that are not commonly found at the Silver Sands Location. Keeping with tradition, the new location will still feature menu staples including a multi-selection gelato cabinet as well as sandwiches, salads, wraps, coffees, beer and wine.
