WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT NEW PRODUCT GALLERY DURING FLORIDA RESTAURANT & LODGING SHOW
ORLANDO, FL September 15, 2008 – The Winners of the People’s Choice Awards for the New Product Gallery were announced today at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show. Thousands of attendees voted for their favorite products.- • The Winner of the Best in Show -- GS Gelato, for their artisan, ready-to-serve gelato and sorbet.
- • The First Runner Up -- coffeebark, for their combination of three classic ingredients – coffee, toffee and chocolate.
- • The Second Runner Up -- Vicks Den, for their disposable chef’s hat
"There were thousands of ballots counted and we congratulate all of our winners, who were all first time exhibitors, who received a plaque and a discount off of their booth package for the 2009 event," said Ron Mathews, Industry Vice President for the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show. "We also congratulate Lydia Eyles, catering manager with the Radisson Hotel in St. Petersburg, FL who was selected out of all of the ballots to receive a $250 shopping spree on the Show Floor."
