Fort Walton Beach, FL (December 27, 2010) – G.S. Gelato and San Gelato Café announces the opening of a new San Gelato Café in the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Luxury Beach Resort. This will be the third location for the company in the area. The Store is slated to open the week after Christmas, and be fully operational in January. The store will have a Grand Opening in January.
The new Café is located at 134 Fisherman’s Cove, and is on the corner of Canary Lane, a prime spot within the Village. The store is neighbored by Candymaker and Roberto’s Pizzeria. The Café will feature indoor and outdoor dining, and will have seating overlooking the Grand Lagoon.“Putting a store into the Village of Baytowne Wharf has been a long-time goal of ours,” said Simona Faroni, Vice President of San Gelato Café and G.S. Gelato. “We are excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to bring our café concept to the community of Sandestin.”The geletaria and café will include a slightly different menu than the other locations, in order to adapt to the Baytowne community. The menu will feature California style tapas and bruschetta, both items that are not commonly found at the Silver Sands Location. Keeping with tradition, the new location will still feature menu staples including a multi-selection gelato cabinet as well as sandwiches, salads, wraps, coffees, beer and wine.
